Frequently Asked Questions
Why are photo and signature files downloaded separately instead of in a ZIP archive?
Both artifacts have independent browser download boundaries. Downloading files separately avoids introducing heavy client-side ZIP library dependencies, reduces memory usage on mobile devices, and ensures direct compatibility with online portal upload fields.
Are my photos or signature scans uploaded to any server?
No. All image decoding, background cleaning, threshold adjustments, target compression, and file generation take place 100% locally on your computer or mobile device.
Can I re-prepare either file independently if needed?
Yes. Clicking "Change Photo" or "Change Signature" re-opens only the selected artifact workflow while leaving the other completed file intact and ready for download.
What happens if I change the selected application preset?
Changing the selected application displays an explicit notice informing you of the updated requirements, while preserving your existing completed files until you explicitly choose to re-prepare them.
Do all applications use identical photo and signature requirements?
No. Different recruitment boards and official portals enforce distinct requirements (for example, UPSC specifies 20–300 KB signature limits, while IBPS specifies 140×60 px preferred dimensions at 10–20 KB). Our verified application presets apply authoritative guidelines for each application.
