By accessing or using Privacy Photo Studio (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Privacy Photo Studio provides browser-based image utilities designed to assist individuals in cropping, resizing, compressing, formatting, and generating print sheet layouts for photographs and signatures.

All image-processing operations are executed locally within your web browser runtime using HTML5 Canvas, Web Workers, and WebAssembly. The platform does not upload or store your photo files on its application servers.

3. User Responsibilities

While we strive to keep document presets and sizing guidelines accurate and up to date, users of the Service have the following responsibilities:

• Checking Official Rules: You are responsible for consulting and verifying the latest official instructions, photograph specifications, and submission guidelines issued by the relevant government authority, embassy, consulate, or examining body.
• Accurate Source Images: You are responsible for providing clear, unedited, properly lit source photographs that meet official lighting, posture, and facial expression requirements.
• Image Authorization & Rights: You agree to process only photographs, facial images, and signatures for which you hold the necessary legal rights, consent, or authorization.
• Pre-Submission Review: You are responsible for reviewing all generated outputs—including physical dimensions, digital pixel resolution, DPI, file size, and visual quality—prior to submitting them to any official portal or authority.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Official photo rules, portal technical requirements, and file size constraints change periodically. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Privacy Photo Studio provides no warranty or guarantee regarding:

• The acceptance or approval of any prepared photo by a government agency, passport office, embassy, or official authority.
• Compatibility with all online government upload portals or automated validation algorithms.
• Uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free availability of the Service.
• The suitability of generated outputs for every specific legal, visa, or administrative application.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following prohibited activities:

• Fraudulent Document Preparation: Creating, altering, or formatting images for fraudulent purposes, forgery, identity deception, or misleading official authorities.
• Unlawful Activities: Any use that violates applicable local, national, or international laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Unauthorized Processing: Uploading or processing another person’s portrait, biometric image, or signature without their informed consent or lawful authorization.
• Service Disruption: Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, overload, or compromise the operation or security of the Service infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property & Image Ownership

You retain all existing rights, title, and ownership to the images and signatures you edit. Privacy Photo Studio does not claim any intellectual property rights, licenses, or ownership over your uploaded source files or generated outputs.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Privacy Photo Studio and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, rejected passport or visa applications, delayed government processing, missed submission deadlines, travel cancellations, or financial losses resulting from non-compliant photographs.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our tools, legal requirements, or operational practices. Material updates will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service following posted changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
